Click Before You Dig

You must place a locate request through Alberta one-call before doing any ground disturbance.

Any damage to unmarked pipelines is the responsibility of the party doing the ground disturbance.

A line hit will not only cost you financially, but it could also cost you your own or someone else's life!

For all ground disturbances, call Alberta One-Call prior to digging at 1-800-242-3447 for free.

No Digging

You must give two full working days' notice and no ground disturbance can be started without the facility owners consent. Ste. Anne Natural Gas Co-op Ltd. does not accept locate requests unless they are directed through One-Call.

Any party that damages gas co-op facilities may be held financially and legally responsible.

Please call the office immediately if you have made contact a gas line 780-967-2246 or 1-800-290-5491. If it is after hours there will be an answering service to direct you to the emergency on-call serviceman.

Carbon Monoxide

Some of the early indicators of carbon monoxide poisoning are: flu like symptoms, frontal headache, nausea, and dizziness. Fresh air is the quickest method for recovery.

Gas Odours

Natural Gas is odorized by a chemical called Mercaptan which adds a distinctive rotten egg or sulphur like smell to help you detect any leaks.
